The Croatian Section of the European Regional Science Association (Croatian Section of ERSA) is a scientific and professional association founded in 1993, dedicated to the development, advancement, and dissemination of regional science. The Association operates as a national platform for connecting researchers, professionals, and institutions engaged in regional and local development in the Republic of Croatia, while actively participating in the international scientific community.

In accordance with its Statute, the Association’s objectives are primarily pursued through the following activities:

• organizing and implementing scientific and professional programs and research;

• publishing brochures, bulletins, and other publications within the Association’s field of work;

• promoting, organizing, and encouraging scientific and professional conferences and events;

• organizing lectures, seminars, and public forums;

• organizing exhibitions and other promotional events;

• providing professional assistance and advisory services related to achieving the Association’s objectives.

As the national section of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA), the Croatian Section of ERSA actively contributes to the international scientific community, participates in the exchange of knowledge and experience, and promotes Croatian regional science within the European and global research space.
